Today I finally decided to upload some pictures, and something went wrong. Sure, I somehow managed to upload the image I currently use as an avatar to my gallery and Deviant Identity (I dislike saying ID), but what I really wanted to submit were some pictures taken on my graduation day, and when I tried to upload the first of them (forget the rest; I need the first one first), an error occured. It showed me a pink thumbnail saying that my file may be corrupt or some other thing and--after I deleted the upload--a popup error message listing more possibilities (I am sure some of you have experienced this problem). I looked through the help topics on this site and tried deleting my cookies and that did not work, and I tried reloading the page like the popup suggested and that did not help either. One thing still puzzles me: that the file may be "corrupt". What exactly is "corruption"? Has it anything to do with the fact that I copied them to my flash drive from my parents' computer and then copied them onto my computer? Since I did the same with the Matrix screenshot, I doubt it. Could it have something to do with the fact that the other pictures were first uploaded to (downloaded from?) a computer from a digital camera? I do not doubt it, but that helps me little, because the error message suggests that I "re-save" the file and then try again. What the heck does that mean? Can anyone help me figure out what to do?
